Privacy Policy.

Vision in Vinyl Pty Ltd trading as PQ Talent respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information when you interact with us, whether that’s booking talent, buying tickets, attending events, or being part of our community.

We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect and why

The personal information we collect depends on how you engage with us.

For clients and ticket buyers, this may include your name, email address, phone number, and details related to your booking or ticket purchase.

For talent, we collect information needed to manage bookings and payments, including legal and stage names, contact details, date of birth, ABN, Tax File Number, and superannuation and payment information. Talent tax and payment information is stored securely in Xero and used only for accounting, payment, and legal compliance purposes.

We do not collect or store credit card details. All payments are processed securely through third party platforms.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as health details, gender identity, sexual orientation, or accessibility requirements.

How we use and share your information

We use personal information to manage enquiries and bookings, run and promote events, pay talent, meet tax and super obligations, communicate with clients, ticket holders, and talent, and send occasional marketing updates.

If you submit an enquiry or buy a ticket through our PQ Talent Humanitix portal, you may be added to our marketing list. We send infrequent communications, usually monthly at most, and every email includes a one click unsubscribe option.

We do not sell personal information. We only share information where necessary to facilitate bookings, process payments, or meet legal and regulatory requirements, and only to the extent required.

Storage, access, and third parties

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access. Access is limited to people who need the information to do their job, and our systems are protected by appropriate security measures.

We use trusted third party services such as ticketing platforms, accounting software, website providers, and email services. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle personal information responsibly.

Access, updates, and contact

You can request access to the personal information we hold about you or ask for corrections by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable time.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
